G/SC-003, Beacon Batch – 325m, 1 point

There is good parking at ST 489 581 although it is popular at the weekend with walkers.  It is a short walk up the road to reach the access footpath up onto the batch and then an easy gentle climb up to the top following the obvious footpath.  There is plenty of room on top but it is quite busy at the weekend.  If you use the trig point be prepared to move for the regular photo calls.

I soon had the station set up and managed to log ten stations including a few summit to summit calls.
